Sourced from the bark of a tree native to North America. Taken internally, this supplement is a powerful healing agent and is effective for numerous gastrointestinal conditions. The bark contains mucilage and tannins, which coat, soothe, and protect the entire digestive system. As a result, Slippery Elm is an excellent treatment for both diarrhea and constipation.

Topically, Slippery Elm can be mixed with water and used to treat hot spots, burns and abscesses.
